Advantages of CEREC

One-Visit Crowns

Crowns can take up to three visits and the use of a temporary crown to fully restore your tooth. With CEREC technology this can be done in a single visit while you are in the chair! CEREC's precision 3-D technology allows us to create a customized crown that fits your tooth accurately and is biocompatible with your own tooth structure.

CEREC restorations are milled from a single block of high-quality porcelain that is compatible with the body and has the same physical characteristics as tooth structure. CEREC porcelain expands and contracts with your teeth. A CEREC restoration is less prone to cracks and flaws than other types of restorations because it comes from a single block.

CEREC restorations are very durable and aesthetic. The restoration is chemically bonded to your tooth, so that tooth structure can be preserved while providing you with a dental restoration that strengthens your tooth.

What is CEREC 3D?

CEREC 3D System

CEREC is an acronym for CEramic REConstruction. We take a 3-dimensional photo of your tooth and custom-craft, using computer-assisted design, a perfectly milled restoration. Minutes later we bond your final restoration in place.

CEREC restorations are used to repair smiles in just one visit. This reduces your number of injections and chair time. Chipped, crooked or discolored teeth can be repaired with beautiful CEREC porcelain crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers.

“The quality of work is exceptional and they settle only for the best for you.”

“The work I needed done on my teeth involved cosmetic dentistry. I had crowns that needed to be replaced on my front teeth which were in place from a sports injury many years ago. My husband asked a trusted friend, who would be the best dentist in Grand Island to perform the work. His response was Dr. Anderson at Anderson Dental Care.

“After my very first appointment with Dr. Anderson I was confident that he would give me back my smile that for so long I was afraid to show. I can't say enough about Anderson Dental Care. He and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome in their office. The quality of work is exceptional and they settle for only the best. They are patient and kind in every respect.

“A person's smile says so much about them and if you're searching for someone to help improve your smile, then search no further. Dr. Anderson and his staff will settle for only the best for you and you will be extremely happy with the results.” ---Leslie
